Last thing I planned to do when I woke up this morning was take a trip to Sioux Falls. But...here I am laying in this lovely room with all kinds of wires & needles hooked up to me. Sanford Hospital has a lovely ER with this cool "Bubble Room" people can wait in. It took a while to see a doctor & get tests ordered but in their defense they had several traumas come in. Holiday weekends are not the best time to visit an ER.
So far they've found the start of pneumonia on the left side; we know from the TEE that my bicuspid valve is working at 55/60% capacity which isn't bad considering it's only 2/3 of the valve to start with.
Now I'm settled in my quite comfy room waiting to see what tomorrow holds.
